Densha de go! is without any doubt one of the most famous videogames ever released. The first version dates back 1996 and was originally produced by Taito.
The aim of this train simulator, is to drive trains through several routes, respecting the schedule and the rules (speed, signals, etc).
The latest releases are under the name of "Railfan" , but for us the only and original one can be just the Densha-de-go, that can be considered the father of all the other train simulators.

What makes this game so extraordinary is the power to let the gamer completely impersonate a train driver: the graphic is extremely realistic, the commands easy to master in little time; the game is in fact extremely realistic and challenging.
Any serious videogamer has played the games : an incredible number of controllers have been created to handle the trains (and trams) that add immensively to the realism of the game. Levers, buttons, brakes etc create an addictive environment.
Densha de go! has been made available to all the major consoles, from the Nintendo 64, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, Playstation portable, (PSP) ,PC, GAME BOY, SEGA SATURN, and finally the mythical WII!.
